Why moving during Spring Break is easier and smarter than you think!

OPTIMAL TIME TO ADJUST TO YOUR NEW SURROUNDINGS
Adjusting to a new school can be difficult at any time of the year, but Spring Break is somewhat of a reset in preparation for the second half of the year. Moving during spring break will allow time for your children to enroll in summer sports and cultivate new relationships while they settle into their new home. Aligning your move with spring cleaning is also a bonus! Moving is the perfect opportunity to purge those items that you never used, and most likely forgot existed.

HELPING HANDS
The kids are out of school and need activities to keep them occupied. What better way to keep them busy than having them help to pack and organize for the move? Have your children help pack their rooms and purge at the same time. If you prefer to have your moving company pack your belongings, have them set aside personal items they would prefer to stay with them during the moving process.

AVOID INCLEMENT WEATHER
Depending on where you live, summer can be just as uncomfortable as a snowy winter. Temperatures in the summer can rise as high as 120 degrees Fahrenheit, making it unsafe to be outside for long periods of time, especially when performing a strenuous activity. Inclement weather can delay or prolong the move. In the Spring, temperatures are much more stable and temperate, ensuring a smooth and safe move.
