The novel coronavirus might have put our lives on pause mode, but it can’t stop us from getting our lives back. In the spirit of a new beginning, Ewing is organizing a Moving and Storage Job Fair for everyone who has the requisite skills to take up any of our available positions.
Who Is Eligible For The Job Fair
The Ewing 2020 Job Fair is open to applicants seeking to fill up any of the following vacancies:
- Professional Class A and Class B Driver
- Pack-Rat Drivers
- Packers
- Movers
- Warehouse Manager
We’ve got limited positions, however, we’ll be employing as many eligible persons as we can.
You’ve got to possess the requisite skill for any position you want to occupy. And most importantly, you’ve got to meet the minimum requirements for applying
What Are The Requirements
To be eligible for the job fair, you need to meet up with the following requirements, you must possess the following
#1. A Valid ID:
We know you probably saw this one coming. Every applicant at the job fair must possess a valid form of identification. We prefer a government-issued photo ID.
#2. Drivers License:
A Driver’s license is obviously a type of a valid ID. If you have any other valid ID, you may not concern yourself with this. However, if you’re applying for the position of a driver, you must have a driver’s license to ensure you’re roadworthy.
#3. Motor Vehicle Report:
This is again specifically for drivers. We want to know how you’ve fared as a driver prior to now. As such, this document is essential for the job fair.
#4. Criminal Background Record:
Every applicant must be willing to undergo a criminal history check.
#5. Drug Screening:
Ewing Moving and Storage Inc is a drug-free organization and we expect our employees to maintain the same level of ethics.
As such, every qualified applicant will be expected to undergo a compulsory drug screening.
How Do I Partake In The Job Fair
To partake in the job fair, you need to avail yourself of the venue of the event. It will be held at 1814 S. Third Street Memphis, TN 38109 from September 10th – September 12th, 2020 by 8 am – 12 pm daily.
However, prior to the D-day, obtain the pre-screening packet by sending an email to ewingjobfair2020@gmail.com.
